- Overcome Anything

Sometimes life falls apart. Maybe a loved one dies or leaves, we are diagnosed with cancer, we lose our job, or we experience other kinds of traumatic events. At first, it might seem impossible for the broken bits
of life to knit together. You may feel that you will never emerge and find peace again. But you will. Take one step and then the next.
The five steps of healing are: acceptance, presence, action, forgiveness, and integration. They can be completed even long after a traumatic event has occurred. The five steps of healing ensure that we integrate our traumatic
experience. If we do, we not only overcome our personal disaster, but grow from it, and finally find stillness and peace.
